Our Recreational classes are designed for gymnasts of all abilities, helping children develop strength, flexibility, coordination and confidence in a fun and supportive environment.
Whether they're taking their first class in gymnastics or developing existing skills, every gymnast is encouraged to progress at their own pace and enjoy the journey.
Recreational Classes
For children in School Years: Year 4 - Year 8
There are two class ages available:
- Year 4, Year 5, Year 6 (8 - 11yrs old)
- Year 7 & Year 8 (11 - 13yrs old)
A structured programme allows opportunity for individual growth and progression.
Gymnasts will be lead by Coaches through different activities and progression of Acrobatic and Tumbling Gymnastics Skills.

Recreational classes are 1 x hour session, once per week.

PRICE: £40 per month or
PAY-AS-YOU-GO £12.50 per session
plus annual Club and British Gymnastics membership

What to expect
Our Recreational classes give gymnasts the opportunity to build on their foundations and take their skills further, in a fun, supportive and encouraging environment.

Through structured sessions and progressive skill development, gymnasts work towards cartwheels, handstands, walkovers and a range of tumbling skills, including dive rolls, somersault progressions, round offs, flics/back flips and aerial cartwheel progressions.
Recreational classes use a variety of equipment, especially air tracks, air rollers, air beams, springboards and vaults.

With expert coaching and plenty of encouragement, every gymnast is supported to challenge themselves, develop their technique and celebrate their progress — whatever their starting point.
PLEASE NOTE
Classes are thoughtfully grouped by age, allowing gymnasts to learn, develop and build confidence alongside others at a similar stage in their journey.
Our coaching team assess gymnasts abilities and should they feel your child is better suited to a different class will reach out to discuss this at a suitable time.
