Monthly Fees & Attendance

How are monthly fees calculated?

At Pure Gymnastics Club, monthly membership fees are calculated based on 48 weeks of training per year, with payments spread evenly across 12 months.

This means you pay the same amount each month, regardless of how many weeks fall within that particular month.

Planned closures and holidays

Our annual fee calculation allows for four weeks without training, including planned club closures, such as over Christmas, and an allowance for additional holidays or absences.

Example: One 60-minute class per week

Cost per class: £10

Annual training cost: £10 × 48 weeks = £480

Monthly payment: £480 ÷ 12 months = £40 per month

Missed classes and attendance

Classes will run as scheduled unless the club notifies members of a cancellation or closure. Monthly fees cover your child's agreed class place, rather than individual attendances.

Rather than paying for 52 weeks of the year, your monthly membership covers 48 training weeks, allowing for planned club closures and an allowance for holidays.

This means your monthly payment remains £40 throughout the year, even in months with five scheduled class days or when the club is closed for a planned break.

As monthly payments already account for planned breaks, we are unable to offer refunds, reduce monthly fees or carry forward sessions when a gymnast misses a class due to holidays, illness or other personal circumstances, or chooses to stop attending.

If Pure Gymnastics Club needs to cancel a session, we will communicate any applicable arrangements directly to affected members.

Our aim is to provide a consistent, reliable training programme while keeping fees straightforward and predictable for families.

Please note that the annual Pure Gymnastics Club membership fee and Welsh Gymnastics membership fee are separate from your monthly class payments.

Club Membership

All gymnasts enrolled on a monthly membership with Pure Gymnastics Club are required to hold a valid Pure Gymnastics Club membership, which costs £25 per gymnast, per year.

This annual fee helps contribute towards the day-to-day running of the club, including administration, equipment, resources and other essential club costs, helping us continue to provide a safe, supportive and positive environment for our gymnasts.

Pay As You Go (PAYG) gymnasts are not required to purchase the annual Pure Gymnastics Club membership. These sessions are covered by our block-registration insurance arrangements, which are included in the cost of PAYG classes.

Welsh Gymnastics membership is separate from Pure Gymnastics Club membership. Gymnasts attending our regular Gym Fun and Recreational classes must also hold the appropriate Welsh Gymnastics membership, as outlined in our Fees & Payments information.

Joining part-way through the year

Your child’s annual Pure Gymnastics Club membership is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, regardless of when they join the club.

The full annual membership fee of £25 per gymnast applies throughout the year. We do not offer discounted or pro-rata membership fees for gymnasts joining part-way through the year

Leaving the club

Annual club membership fees are non-refundable if a gymnast leaves Pure Gymnastics Club before their membership expires.

Please note that club membership is separate from monthly class fees and any applicable Welsh Gymnastics membership fees.
